Jessica’s wedding

I went to one of my best friends weddings this last weekend and although I shot a bunch of photos, it wasn’t a priority of mine for once. So I only ended up getting a few so so photos. Here is one…

My all time favorite tree

This is a fig tree in Santa Barbara. It’s almost a football field wide and the roots are just plain gnarly.

Old photo of Justin Barcia

I don’t expect anyone here to fully appreciate this one but this kid is goooooood. He’s gonna be hangin with James Stewart (scott) once he steps up to the pro’s. This photo is from Feb ‘07 so he was maybe 14 yrs old. It’s him completely pancaked on a 85cc bike over a rather large uphill step up (maybe 80ft up). However, what you can’t tell from this photo is that right after this jump was a supercross sized triple that he hit WFO and scrubbed just like Stewart… except on a freaking 85.

Shot on my D80 at 18mm, f5.6, 1/2000 sec, ISO 400.

Wes’ 20th Anniversary

Things were good at Wes’ 20th Anniversary. I thought I would post a couple of photos I snapped. These were all (with the exception of Louis behind the sprinkler) shot with my 40D and a 15mm fisheye.
