The Yarn Spinner

I shot this at Matt’s wedding. I didnt see the nuances of his face until later, but it looks to me so much like he is in the middle of telling a story where he single handed … killed all the germans, found the gold, saved the sinking boat and all the sailors and took out the lion that had escaped from the zoo.

i shot this indoor in really low natural light. ISO 1600, 1/20 of a sec, f 5.0 and tweeked in lightroom

Grounded

Actually, he wasn’t grounded, I had him pose for this shot. I was thinking about photoshoping in some kids playing in the yard to drive the point of the photo home a little more.

The New Swing

These were taken the morning after I built the big swing in the back yard along with this one here.

I love Benji’s reaction to how high Evie is getting on the swing.

ISO 400, 1/600 sec exposure, 60 mm, at f/7.1

Long Exposure

Here is a shot I got the other night out on my deck. I liked the lighting in the shots I got at my anniversary of the people at this table, but because I was shooting moving people, I had the ISO all the way up and they were kind of grainy. I shot this one at   f8.0 with   ISO 100   and  a 13 second exposure. It took me about 5 tries til I held still enough.

I get a lot of comments on this one

During the 4th of July 05′ it started raining, but a little rain never stopped a Reder trying to light a fire.

This was taken with my old  Fugi (Piece of S#!+. )
