The New Swing

These were taken the morning after I built the big swing in the back yard along with this one here.

I love Benji’s reaction to how high Evie is getting on the swing.

ISO 400, 1/600 sec exposure, 60 mm, at f/7.1

Long Exposure

Here is a shot I got the other night out on my deck. I liked the lighting in the shots I got at my anniversary of the people at this table, but because I was shooting moving people, I had the ISO all the way up and they were kind of grainy. I shot this one at   f8.0 with   ISO 100   and  a 13 second exposure. It took me about 5 tries til I held still enough.

My Cool Chicago

Here’s some cool stuff that I shot here in Chicago … mostly at night.  There is also some storm pictures shot from the roof here at my apartment complex.  Lastly, a shot of the most beautiful rainbow I’ve ever been fortunate enough to witness. A full, dual shelf work of art that spanned the entire sky.  When I got in a cab and sped off to find the pot of gold at the end, there was nothing but an empty, badly mangled bucket and some police “caution” tape … that’s life in the city for ya!’

In the past I've only been able to see small parts of rainbows ... Not this time! THis is the full Monty!
